Test of electropolished stainless steel

Here follows an account of our stress test on; electropolished stainless steel.

The test was carried out by making two different parts, one untreated in acid-resistant stainless steel and the other electropolished in acid-resistant stainless steel.
We then created an extremely tough environmentö by directly exposing them to chlorine in high concentration for 10 days.

Ordinary stainless steel acid-proof plate.

After 10 days. You can thenå see clear frost damage in the plate under the chlorine.

Electropolished stainless acid-resistant plate.

After 10 days. We see thereå no frost damage on the electropolished plate under the chlorine.

We also put the same plates in water baths with extreme chlorine content and we can also see clear differences below.

Ordinary acid-resistant plastic, there we can see clear damage.

Electropolished acid-resistant plate.

We can do everythingå see that the difference between an electropolished and non-electropolished plate is significant.
